Data Saving and Sharing Resources
SPEaR is leading a cross-sector, cross-disciplinary initiative to provide best practice principles for Data Saving and Sharing across the social sector. This initiative will enable the research community to share data and maximise the effectiveness of investment in data collection and saving.
The Data Saving and Sharing Working Group was formed in 2004 to enhance the utility of social knowledge across the social sector. The Working Group, made up of approximately 20 members from private, public and academic sectors meet 2-3 times per year to share information and discuss issues around the effective saving and sharing of data.
Recently, the Working Group commissioned Dr. Martin Tolich to draft a discussion document "Challenges, Risks, and Solutions for Administrative Data and Research Sourced Data".
