Termination or suspension of the award
We may agree to a suspension of an award in circumstances such as:
- ill health
- parental leave
- compassionate leave.
Where a suspension is granted, an agreement will be reached between all parties regarding recommencement of payments.
We may terminate an award in any of the following circumstances:
- the holder does not comply with the conditions of the award
- the holder fails to pursue the agreed programme of research
- the host institution is not satisfied that the holder is diligently carrying out the agreed programme of work.
