The Tangata Whenua, Community and Voluntary Sector Research Centre is offering six awards in 2011 for New and Emerging Community Researchers. This includes postgraduates, and people who are already working with community researching topics such as community organisations, concepts of community and Community-Government relations. The Award includes a small scholarship and up to $400 to offset the cost of travel to attend the Auckland seminar and workshop in November. For more information and contact details visit the website.
There are many scholarship and grants available for New Zealand residents to study in Germany. These range from short-term exchanges for research or teaching purposes through to doctoral scholarships lasting several years. Search the extensive online database to find the appropriate scholarship or grant for your situation. Applications close in September for research to be undertaken in 2012.
