Students completing the research component of a Masters degree can receive up to $10,000 towards one year of personal support plus fees. The PhD Scholarship provides three years of personal support of up to $25,000 per annum, for outstanding graduate students in any discipline relevant to health. The HRC’s new investment framework consists of four Research Investment Streams. These are Health and Wellbeing in New Zealand; Improving Outcomes for Acute and Chronic Conditions in New Zealand; New Zealand Health Delivery and Rangahau Hauora Mäori. An Investment Signal describing each stream is available on the HRC website, along with information on the application and assessment processes. Register your research project application by 29 September 2010. Expressions of Interest close on 12 October.

The J R McKenzie Trust is a philanthropic organisation that has been in Aotearoa New Zealand for almost 70 years. It focuses on building and supporting strong, inclusive and socially just communities, especially in the areas of disadvantaged children and their families, and Māori development. The Trust supports organisations to reduce inequality and social exclusion through long-term funding partnerships. The next funding round closes on 28 February 2011.
