Strengthening capability in research commissioning and release of the SPEaR Good Practice Guidelines
SPEaR hosted the workshop to provide a forum to strengthen departmental capability in research commissioning and enhance Research & Evaluation quality.
This workshop focused on peer review as a critical tool - from pre-commissioning through to the publication of research.
The SPEaR Good Practice Research & Evaluation Guidelines were also released and several agencies gave short presentations on applied good practice.
There was also an opportunity to discuss responses to particular scenarios and develop suggestions for further inter-agency activity.
