Data integration
Information on a new method for creating statistical information is now available on the Statistics New Zealand website.
The method involves integrating information from different sources to produce new statistical datasets which will enable improved research and analysis. This information gives an outline of statistical data integration, the technical issues and the associated privacy issues, along with a link to the data integration protocol. There is also summary information of the approved data integration projects: Student Loans; New Zealand Census Mortality Study; Matching 2001 Vitals to 2001 Census Data; Injury Statistics; and Linked Employer Employee Dataset (LEED) project.
