Understanding inequality
Janet Gornick, an expert in work-life balance issues, will present a two-hour seminar in April on "Understanding Inequality: How might the Luxembourg Income Study help us?" The seminar will focus on gender inequality and child poverty.
Janet Gornick is Professor of Political Science, Baruch College and at the Graduate Center, City University of New York, and Associate Director of the Luxembourg Income Study. The seminar, hosted by Victoria University's Institute of Policy Studies and sponsored by Statistics New Zealand, will be held on 20 April 2006,10.00 am, Room 312, Railway Station, Pipitea Campus, Wellington.
