SPEaR bulletin - September 2006

Family relationships

A new report shows that on the whole New Zealanders are happy with the state of their relationships.

"New Zealanders’ Satisfaction with Family Relationships and Parenting" was funded by the Families Commission’s Blue Skies Fund. The report, by Dr Jeremy Robertson of the Roy McKenzie Centre for the Study of Families at Victoria University, found New Zealanders regard relationships with a range of people as important, particularly those with their children and partners, followed by extended families.
