This fixed term position is within the Centre of Methods and Policy Application in the Social Sciences (COMPASS) at The University of Auckland Faculty of Arts. COMPASS comprises a team of researchers with experience and expertise in a range of disciplines and research methodologies led by Professor Peter Davis.
The position is full time for two years. Candidates will preferably have a PhD qualification, but those with good postgraduate qualifications and suitable work experience will also be considered. A background in quantitative methods in the social and allied sciences, such as sociology, social statistics, demography, public health, health or social psychology is required, as well as experience in working with quantitative data and experience in writing research funding proposals.
