Senior Policy Adviser (Evaluation)

A 12-month fixed-term contract, commencing in late November / early December 2009 is available in the Department of Corrections Head Office - Wellington, for an experienced person with a good understanding of research and evaluation.
The position will assist with the Department's annual research and evaluation work programme. Applicants need experience in managing evaluation projects and contracts, and proven ability in undertaking both quantitative and qualitative research. Additional desirable qualities include highly developed communication skills, and an appreciation of Maori perspectives.
